Director of Montessori Curriculum:

Roxana Morales

My name is Roxana Morales, I began my Montessori career in 2001 when I taught preschool in a prestigious Montessori school. I loved what Montessori had to offer, and this teaching experience fueled my passion to enroll at SFMEC to pursue both Infant - Toddler, and Early Childhood Montessori Degrees.

In 2012 I was very fortunate to serve as the Montessori curriculum dean at Temple Moses in Miami Beach for 6 years in order to help them build Moses Montessori. In 2017 I was hired as a consultant and traveled to Israel, so that I can train teachers, and set up Yahalom Montessori, a now thriving Montessori school in Jerusalem. These experiences inspired me to open my own Montessori school, and this is how Shalom Montessori School was born.

I know that in the right environment, all children can thrive intellectually, socially, and emotionally by helping to find their unique interests, academic level, and developmental needs.

I'm honored to put my finger on the pulse of your child's education to help them excel in every possible way. I love what I do so much because throughout the school year, and even years later when I see my past students, they exude confidence, independence, knowledge and understanding beyond their years because the Montessori method helped to give them those qualities. I'm inspired to constantly learn, and am passionate to help your child develop a love for secular and Jewish learning.
